A collection of classic devotionals, text rehearsals and Bible mnemonics for today, revised for both iPhone and iPad!
DAILY THEMES Today and Yesterday - are from Samuel Bagster’s 1860s classic devotional Daily Light. Morning and Evening themes are from the Authorized (King James) Bible. Tap ‘Today for today’s themes. If you missed the day before, tap ‘Yesterday. Interactive texts and rehearsals of verses are available here, too; and these draw on selected Bible texts for you to rehearse as part of your learning, recalling and placing verse references. Daily Reading comprises R.M.McCheynes scheme for reading through the Bible in either 1 or 2 years - taking you directly to the reading for todays date or to any other date of your choice. Sunday in the week is available only on each Sunday in the year: weekly extracts from Wayside Wells, by Rev. Andrew Bonar. Publications are articles of interest in context, which we publish here from time to time. Check here on what books we publish through both Books and Kindle apps. Simply copy the search text and search in these apps as preferred for lists of our publications there, being specific to your geographic region. SPECIAL THEMES focus on readings from Daily Light for times of Afflication, Anxiety, Bereavement, For a Birthday, Marriage and Sickness. BIBLE BOOKS, AND LINES OF KINGS are lists of books in the old and new testaments, encouraging the reader to know where in scripture theyre placed, through mnemonics and sorting interactively; likewise for the lines of kings subsequent to the dividing of the Old Testament Kingdom after David and Solomon, into Israel and Judah.

Capture your thoughts anytime with text input, and share with others, or just make notes.

All main views are automatically refreshed daily. The app is structured with an easy-to-follow and revised user-interface; it looks great in (your preferred) light or dark mode.
